Sergeant Ninness 423173 was the pilot of Fairey Battle L5654 when it had a mid-air collision with Fairey Battle K9380 during air to air gunnery practice - AC Cyril Albert Venables 122157 was an armament assistant who was onboard acting as the drogue operator
