The details provided are taken from the book "000 Men at War" the history of the 2nd/16th Infantry Battalion, published 1959, refer to page 222. Brian 30th Dec 1918, and prior to the war he was a commercial traviller of West Maitland NSW. He enlisted into the AIF and served with the 16th Motor Regiment until it disbanded, then was transferred to the 2nd/16th Inf Bn where he served as a private soldier. Unfortunately, he died of an illness 5th Nov 1944. Rest in Peace. Lest We Forget.
