Elliott John Harvey William PEARSON was born in Harrogate, South Australia on 2nd February, 1907

His parents were William Ambrose John PEARSON & Florence Victoria TEAKLE

He married Mary Ellen WESTON in St Thomas Church, Balhannah, SA on 12th September, 1928

He enlisted in the Army on 2nd January, 1940 - his last rank & unit were Private with the 2nd/1st Machine Gun Battalion  (AIF)

Elliott died at the Radcliffe Infirmary in England on 3rd December, 1940 whilst undergoing surgery for a cerebral brain tumour - he is buried in the Colchester Cemetery
