Biography

Darcy Reginald PERCEVAL was born on 20th June, 1916 in Rye Park, Boorowa (also known as Burrowa)

His parents  were Reginald PERCEVAL and Susannah GORHAM

He enlisted on 16th April, 1941 with the Australian Army - his posting at death was with the 2/19 Australian Infantry Battalion

Darcy was Killed in Action on 19th January 1942 in Malaya - he is buried in Kranji War Cemetery and is also honoured on the Australian War Memorial, Boorowa War Memorial and a memorial plaque in Boorowa Cemetery, NSW
