No 1545 Driver George Victor Perry served in WW1 - 39 Battery 10 Field Artillery Regiment. He saw service in Syria, Egypt, Gallipoli and France. He was in combat for his country for four years and 96 days out of his four years and 215 days in the Army.

Vic was destined for further service in WW2 but collapsed on a route march in Sydney on March 16th, 1943 and died in the ambulance taking him to hospital
