Biography contributed by Faithe Jones

Son of William John and Eliza Jane BUTTLE, Bloomfield, Orange, NSW

Old boys of tho Bloomfield public school continues to see in which direction their duty lies, and are still joining up to take their share in the Great Adventure. The latest to enlist are Frank Wright  and Simon Buttle, both of whom are a credit to their old school and the district. They will unquestionably be worthy members of the A.I.F.

Some few weeks ago the residents of Bloomfleld presented Privates Frank Wright and Simon Buttle with a wristlet watch each, and as there were some funds over, It was decided to procure a
fountain pen and wallet for the two brave lads, who have left to take their part in upholding the honor of Australia.

Boaden, of Moulder-street, Orange, and Mr. Simon Buttle, second son of Mrs. Buttle, of Bloomfield. The bridal draperies were of white crepe-de-chinc and tulle embroidered with crystals, and the bride also wore a wreath and veil. The bridesmaid, Miss Felice Blowes, of Trundle, relieved her white frock with a nattier blue hat. Mrs. J. Buttle, brother of the bride groom, was best man. The train-bearers were the Misses Elvy and Edna Boaden) (nieces of the bride). - 9 Jan 1921
