Reginald Charles Joffre POWELL was born in Katoomba, NSW on 28th July, 1917

His parents were Percy Charles POWELL & Alice Maud GEARY

He died in an accidental aircraft crash of a Liberator Aircraft (B2956) during air operations in Burma on 1st November, 1944 and is buried in the Kanchanaburi War Cemetery - last rank was Flight Lieutenant - 1576 Flight 357 Squadron
