The death is announced in a southern Queensland military hospital of Private Jessie Roberts, second daughter of Mr and Mrs W. Roberts, of Rooken Glen, Bogantungan. The late Miss Roberts was a person of exceedingly cheerful disposition and was one of the most popular girls in the district. Like all her sisters, she was a very clever horsewoman. With a younger sister she joined the AWAS early this year and had recently been home on leave.
