Norman Hollingdale ROFF was born in Midhurst, Sussex, England on 1st July, 1903

His parents were Frederick Neame ROFF & Edith Mary HOLLINGDALE who married in Carlisle, Cumberland, England in 1903

He served in the Senior Cadets in the 1st Military District, 11th Mixed Brigade in  1930 and was promoted to Lieutenant on 4th August, 1932 - he enlisted to serve during WW1 on 29th July, 1940

He married Katherine Isabel HODGE in Guildford, Western Australia in 1930

Norman was Killed in Action in Timor on 23rd February 1942 and is buried in the Ambon War Cemetery - he also has a memorial headstone in the Launceston St George Anglican Church in Tasmania
