Ryan Trainer aircraft A50-21 of Number 452 Squadron RAAF crashed at Schofields in NSW on the 20th of October 1942 killing Flight Lieutenant John Robertson Ross 400157 - buried in Brighton Cemetery, Victoria
The aircraft’s passenger was LAC Walter Clarence Elliott 14856 who died the next day in hospital from his injuries and is buried in Sydney War Cemetery
