GREATER LOVE HATH NO MAN
Flight Sergeant Neil Colin Ross of Natte Yallock, who was killed on active servce in England, was one of the most popular young sportsmen in Avoca district. A son of Mrs. L.M. Ross and the late Mr. Donald ross, Neil was one of Natte Yallock's best footballers. He was also captain of the tennis club and an Association delegate. When news of his death came through the sports club abandoned a meeting which was to have been held on Boxing Day.
