(Jack) Aubrey Nelson Rowe saw service in both WW1 and WW2. On his WW1 enlistment he gave his birthdate as 7th August 1897 but for his second enlistment his birthdate is recorded as 7th August, 1901. He was gassed in near Villers Bretonneux in 1918 and became a POW in WW2
Aubrey Rowe Close, South West Rocks is to be named for him.
