Flying Officer John Heywood Rowe 400375 of 45 Squadron RAF was killed when Ryan aircraft N22-41 crashed near Allahabad, India

He was attached to 308 MU at Allahabad as a test pilot at the time of the incident (via book "Flying Camels")

Also killed was Wing Commander (Pilot) Robert Harvey 37172 RAF (from Canada)
