Flight Sergeant D N Rumble. Official advice has been received that Flight Sergeant Donald Neal Rumble is missing as a result of air operations on October 16. He enlisted in Narrandera but was employed at Vagg's Garage, Griffith, when he received his call-up. He was a resident of Griffith for about three years.
Hudson aircraft A16-178 of No. 2 Squadron took off on an operational flight on 16th October 1943 and failed to return to base. It was considered that the aircraft crashed at sea.
