LAC Scott was run down by a truck in Los Angeles, California. He disembarked at Los Angeles on the 8th of February 1944 with Aircrew 11G Group 5, but was absent when the draft left for Canada the next day.
He was in transit from Australia to 2 MD Brandon RCAF Canada for further training.
