Son of Alfred Frederick and Ellen Annie Self, of Gaythorne, Queensland, Australia.

Sergeant Observer Keith Robert Self, third son of Mrs. E. Self, of Gnythornc, and the late Mr Fred Self, was killed in an aircraft accident in Nova Scotia whilst completing his training in Canada. Sergeant Self, who was formerly employed by the Queensland Railways, was a nephew of Mr Colin Bingham, formerly of the staff of "The Telegraph,"
