Leading Aircraftman Kevin Vincent Sheahan 118975 of 22SQN was killed by shrapnel from a bomb that exploded after dropping off a Kittyhawk aircraft on take-off from Wama Airstrip, Morotai Island - his death is mentioned in the Number 5 Medical Receiving Station history record
