Nicholas Bellenger SKOTTOWE was born in Adelaide, South Australia on 25th February, 1915

His parents were Arthur Bellenger SKOTTOWE & Winifred Bebe HACK

He enlisted in the Royal Australian Navy on 1st January, 1929 -  he worked his way up to ranks to Lieutenant

Nicholas died in Darwin, Northern Territory on 27th November, 1939 in a car accident - he was first buried in the Darwin Public Cemetery , Grave 1038 & later re-interred in the Adelaide River War Cemetery, Northern Territory, Plot P, Row A, Grave 14
