DEATH IN AIR ACCIDENT
Pilot From Essendon
The day after his father had died in Melbourne Pilot-Officer Percival M. Sloan, R.A.A.F., met his death in an air-craft accident In England on Thursday. Aged 23, Pilot Officer Sloan, whose home was in Essendon, was educated at Scotch College. He became a stock salesman for the Commonwealth Wool and Produce Co. Ltd., and joined the R.A.A.F. last year. He trained under the Empire Air Scheme, and had only recently arrived in England from Canada.
