My Grandfather
My Grandfather served in both the First World War and the Second World War, he emigrated to Australia in the early part of the last century. He married my Grandmother in Sydney Cathedral in 1919, after having two children together one of which was my father, Joseph Walter Smart, who was born in Sydney NSW in 1924, The marriage did not la and my grandmother left to return to England, in the early 1930s. My Grandfather went to England, but was not allowed to see his children, so returned to Australia,
