Flying Officer Stobie was 20 and the son of Graeme and Evees Irene Stobie, of Melbourne, Victoria, Australia.

INSCRIPTION on his wargrave at OBAN (PENNYFUIR) CEMETERY- Sec. I. Grave 15.  reads:

 

                         VITAQUE IRRITANS SUB UMBRAS FUGIT

Flying Officer Stobie was 20 and the son of Graeme and Evees Irene Stobie, of Melbourne, Victoria, Australia.
