Sergeant Tregear 402893 of 260SQN RAF was killed when Kittyhawk AK966 crashed in Cyrenaica, Libya while attacking an enemy motor transport column

His aircraft passed over the target just as a lorry blew up and his aircraft was seen to crash in flames - his body was not recovered and he is commemorated on the Alamein Memorial, Egypt
