On 28 November 1924 the R.A.N. requested a copy of Frank's WW1 service record as he being nominated as a Naval Chaplain in the Royal Australian Navy. Frank had been given leave to extend his theological studies in London before returning to Australia.
While in the R.A.N, Frank was stationed at Cerberus (twice), Australia, Platypus and Lonsdale.
During 1925c Frank married Moira Bird Good in Victoria
