Add my storyBiography contributed by Graham Prior
Roscoe's mother Daisy Turner was a well known and prominent citizen - earning a British Empire Medical for her services to the community. The original kiosk at the hospital was named in her honour.
Once Roscoe was selected to play against the NSW cricket team when it was passing through Kempsey. While training in Canada he was a member of the Koala Bears, scoring the most runs and coming second in the batting average and first in bowling. In winter he excelled at soccer being the team's captian and goalie.
Roscoe Turner Street, Kempsey is named for him
