Son of George Abram and Walford and Dorothy Walford of Sydney; husband of Doris Lillian Walford of Thornleigh, NSW

24 February 1943 - injured in an aircraft accident at Travinston, QLD when the number 4 piston broke up while in flight resulting in complete engine failure and a forced landing

Prior to enlsting he was been employed with L.V. Massy Harris Pty. Ltd of concord West for over four years

In 1934 he passed his Intermediate Certificate in the subjects of - English, Mathmatics, Latin, French but failed History and Science

In 1936 he passed his Leaving Certificate in the subjects of Mathmatics, Latin, Franch, History

In 1937 he studied Accounting

Sports played wers Cricket, Football, Athletics, Swimming, Water Polo, Table Tennis
