Son of William Lancelot and Louisa Clarice Walker of Lismore, NSW
Flying Officer John William Walker 402988 was killed when his Mustang aircraft G474 of Number 168 Squadron RAF crashed in Normandy, France (folios referring to this member are on the casualty file for Flying Officer Francis Montague Wilson 417031 due to some confusion over names by graves registration personnel)
Biography
Jack Walker was a great practical joker. He lived and worked on his grandfather's farm prior to enlisting. He was best man at his uncle Stanley Walker's wedding and the attached photo was taken at the wedding in 1933. - Valerie Walker
