Spencer Henry WALKLATE was born on 11th January, 1918 in Bushgrove, NSW

His parents were Spencer Henry WALKLATE & May Hope ASHTON who married in 1914

He married Lynda Maude O'KEEFE in 1938 (marriage registered in Gunnedah, NSW) - 3 known children

His brother Eric Mervyn WALKLATE (SN NX10142) also lost his life in WW2 in New Guinea on 23rd October, 1943
