Air Force Cadet Pilot Edward Andrew Walsh 24189 was killed when his aircraft - Hawker Demon A1-49 of Number 22 Squadron - crashed on the grounds of Hawkesbury Agricultural College near Richmond aerodrome in NSW

The aircraft spun into the ground after it stalled from an inverted position while carrying out aerobatics.
