SQNLDR Walsh 40064 RAF was the pilot of Blenheim Z7274 of 139 Squadron RAF attacking shipping on a day mission off the coast of Belgium. The aircraft was hit by enemy anti aircraft fire over the target, caught fire and crashed into the sea.  Also killed were Flight Sergeant A G Hole & Sergeant G H Brook
