11 Jun 1945: Wounded Private, QX2984, 2nd/10th Ordnance Workshop, Edgar died of tuberculosis while working in the Fukuoka Mine in Japan with about 1,857 other POW's. The Camp Commandant forced the men to work even when critically ill. He was executed for war crimes after the war ended.
