Horace John Walden WILLINGS was born in Gympie, Queensland on 17th November, 1901
His parents were John Joseph WILLINGS & Florence WALDEN
He married Lucy May WOOD in Sydney in 1928
He had previously served in the 16th Australian Light Horse from 1926 to 1927 before enlisting as a Chaplain during WW2
