Flying Officer Douglas Wilson 414115 was killed when Boomerang A46-71 of Number 8 Communication Unit based at Goodenough Island crashed at sea 20 miles off Goodenough Island - his body was not recovered and he is commemorated on the Port Moresby Memorial
