Son of Donald Charles and Sarah Elizabeth Woods; husband of Eleanor Dorothy Woods, of Toowoomba, Queensland.
Flight Sergeant Robert Donald Woods (married), elder son of Mr and Mrs D. C. Woods, Broomfield Street, Taringa, lost his life as a result of an aircraft accident which occurred on Juno 12. He joined the RAAF in 1940, and trained as a wireless air gunner. For the past three months he had been serving at a Northern operational base.
