The details provided are taken from the book "1000 Men at War" the history of the 2nd/16th Infantry Battalion, published 1959, refer to page 154. Henry wa born at Mount Magnet WA 19th March 1912 and prior to the war he was a labourer of Donnybrook WA, plus he had served with the 25th Light Horse Regiment Militia. He enlisted with the AIF, and served with the 2nd/16th Inf Bn as a Lieutenant. Unfortunately, he was wounded and died of those wounds 5th Dec 1942, Rest In Peace. Lest We Forget.
