Ivan Astbury YOUNG was born in Maryborough, Victoria on 6th December, 1920

His parents were George William YOUNG & Myra Agnes SKEAD

He first enlisted in the Army with the 17th Machine Gun Regiment on 12th August, 1940 and was discharged (date unknown) and then enlisted in the RAAF on 2nd June 1942

Ivan died of Illness in the Heidelberg Military Hospital in Victoria on 12th December, 1923 and is buried in the Springvale War Cemetery
