Claude Hempel ZSCHECH was born on 31st December, 1899 in Wangaratta, Victoria

His parents were Frederick ZSCHECH and Margaret Jane JONES

He enlisted in Wangaratta on 12th January 1942 - Unit: General Details Depot Staff Victoria Lines of Communication (Australian Army)

He had previously served in the Military from 1914 -1922

He died of Illness on 8th May, 1944 in Heidleberg Military Hospital in Victoria

Buried in Springvale War Cemetery - Australian War Graves
