William John ABRAHAM was born in Merimbula, New South Wales in 1879

His parents were Henry Clement ABRAHAM & Mercy STUCKEY who married in St Peters Church in Woolloomooloo, Sydney on 22nd March, 1876

He served with the A Squadron of the NSW Mounted Infantry as a Private

William was killed in action on 10th March, 1900 at Abrahams Kraal, South Africa during the battle of Driefontein

Medals:  Queens South Africa Medal with 3 clasps

His brother Harry (Henry) Clement ABRAHAM  (SN 5553) served in WW1 and was Killed in Action on 16th April, 1917
