Aubrey Vincent APTHORPE was born in Durham, New South Wales in 1882

His parents were Samuel APTHORPE & Ellen WHYBURN who married in Maitland in 1877

He died of Enteric Fever on 31st January, 1902 in Bloemfontein, South Africa and is buried in the Bayswater Garden of Remembrance in South Africa
