Edward Percy BARTON was born on 4th July, 1873 in Wagga Wagga, New South Wales

His parents were Thomas Hugh BARTON & Susan Jane HEATH who married on 3rd June 1867 in Deniliquin, New South Wales

His father was from Westmeath in Ireland & his mother from Devonshire, England

He served with the 7th Australian Commonwealth Horse (Queensland)

He died in hospital in Portsea, Victoria on 14th August, 1902 of pneumonia and is buried in the Sorrento Cemetery in Victoria
