Hugh Hunter HANDCOCK was born in Ireland on 14th February, 1878

His parents were Hugh Hunter HANDCOCK & Johanna HAYES

He embarked on 23rd April, 1900 with the NSW Imperial Bushmen (C Company) on the ship SS Armenian

He was Killed in Action at Reneke in South Africa on 29th November, 1900  - cemetery Vryburg Garden of Remembrance

Hugh was awarded the Queens South Africa Medal with 2 clasps
