Simon McLENNAN was born in Portsea, England in 1881

His parents were Simon McLENNAN & Lydia BAILEY who married in Portsea in 1881

Simon died of wounds in Colesberg, South Africa on 3rd March, 1900 and is buried in the Colesberg Military Cemetery

He was a Private with the 1st New South Wales Mounted Rifles, E Squadron
