William Patrick MEEHAN was born in Muswellbrook, New South Wales in 1870

His parents were John MEEHAN & Bridget HARRISON

William died of enteric fever in Adelaide on 24th January, 1900 on his way to the Boer War and is buried in the Catholic Section of the West Terrace Cemetery in Adelaide

His brother Daniel Peter MEEHAN (SN 104) also died while serving in the Boer War in Pretoria, South Africa on 18th January, 1901
