6th Battalion Royal Australian Regiment
Buchan was shot during enemy contact with the enemy just before midday on 11th December 1969 in Phuoc Tuy.
Note: Commemorated in Garden of Remembrance, Karrakatta, Western Australia
His remains were Cremated, Ashes given to family or friend and Returned to Relatives in Scotland
