Eric was born in Stratford upon Avon in 1947 he was adopted by Eric and Nancy Gould as a child and lived in Tamworth. He spent the school holidays and his teen years at his grandmothers ( Jane Johnson ) in Bedale , North Yorkshire . Where his ashes are buried ( at his request ) in the Johnson family plot in St Gregory's church Bedale . Courtesy of Mal Bland
