Jellie’s plane was shot down during a flight in Phuoc Tuy at 10.30pm 3rd December 1969.

The remains of Second Lieutenant Alan Douglas Jellie 39510 were repatriated to Australia in June 2016 from Terendak Military Cemetery, Malacca, Malaysia (Church of England - Row D - Grave 17)
