Gaetano was born on 22nd Sept. 1946 in Genoa Italy - his parents details are unknown

He was a leading Aircraftman with the Royal Australian Air Force - service no. A222023 & was serving in the Vietnam War

He died of wounds he received in a knife fight with a South Vietnamese soldier near Vung Tau on 19th June, 1967

He is buried in Rookwood Cemetery in Sydney NSW and is memoralized on the Vietnam War Memorial Grafton
