Arthur RUDUSS (1936-1966)
Private Arthur RUDUSS was one of 33 Australian personnel who had been interred in the Terendak Military Cemtery in Malaysia. By agreement between the Malaysian Government the Australian Government and the families, their remains were repatriated to Australia and reinterred in accordance with their families' wished in 2016. 22 of the men were servicemen mainly those killed in the early stages of the Vietnam conflict. Australian Army elements had been based in Terendak during the Malayan Emergency and later during 'Konfrontasi' with Indonesia in the mid 60s.
