Arthur Adams
Arthur Adams served in both WW1 and WW1. During WW1 he served in the 9th Reinf Aus Flying Corp as a wireless operator. (SERN 1576) He served in France and was then transferred to London. He finally returned to Australia in Oct 1919. Arthur married Anna Sophia Frederica (known as Girlie) Jessen in 1921 at St Pauls Church, Maryborough. During WW11 Arthur and Girlie were living at Toowoomba when Arthur enlisted in the Volunteer Defence Force (Q155623)Arthur died in 1965 whilst in Melbourne, possibly on a holiday as they lived in Camp Hill, Brisbane and his wife continued to live there until her death 5 years later.
