Son of Robert Archibald, 44 Caldwell Street, Devonport, England

After the war Tom moved to Pozieres near Stanthorpe and in 1925 married an English girl, Gladys Walsh.  The couple had 4 children.

Tom joined the Militia in WW2.  Later he moved to Redbank and served till 1945.  He then moved west again, to Fairymead, then Granton and Bouila and Majuba at Maxwelton.  Tom and Gladys moved into Winton in 1964 and he worked as a bookeeper for Norm & Ada Lenton at Central Motors until his death in 1970.

His name is recorded on the WW1 Winton Methodist Church Honour Roll.
