Private Reginald Bolck (Service No:Q36236) enlisted in the ACMF on 13 March 1940. Classified as a Cook, Private Bolck served in New Guinea (9 January 1943 - 8 May 1944) and Bougainville (1 December 1944 - 24 March 1946) with 42 Infantry Battalion AMF and was Discharged on 24 April 1946.

Born in 1919 in Rockhampton QLD, Reg was the third of four children of Johann (John Henry) Heinrich Bolck (b1870 in Kisdorf, Germany) and Ethel Daphne Phillips (b1880 in London, England). John immigrated with his parents in 1871, arriving in Keppel Bay on board the Lammershagen, and Ethel immigrated with her widowed mother in the mid 1980s, settling in Brisbane, QLD where her mother soon remarried. John (a Labourer) and Ethel (a Book Binder) married in 1909 in Rockhampton, QLD and lived at Bajool where John was a Ganger. The family moved to Yeppoon QLD in the 1920s, where John worked as a Labourer.

Reg worked as a Labourer in Yeppoon, QLD before enlisting in the ACMF. In 1946 in Yeppoon, Reg married Eileen Mary Janet Anderson (b1917 in Yeppoon, QLD). Reg and Eileen settled in Yeppoon where Reg worked as a Labourer. Following Eileen's death in 1965, Reg worked in Nambour as a Pipe Layer before settling at Palmwoods where he was a Ganger. Reg died in 1991.
